I remember Sherri as being very sweet and very dovoted. She loved her Lord, her church, and, especially, her friends. She always kept up with me and where I was and what I was doing. I'm certain she was like that with all of her friends.

I feel very honored that I got to be good friends with Sherri. She was such a wonderful, inspirational person. I came to admire her even more beyond high school.  She had a way of attracting the needy and poor in spirit and then helping them. I remember one in particular. He was a very lonely older man who was dying and estranged from his adult son. Sherri became his good friend and eventually became an intermediary between him and his son. So this man did not die alone. Sherri was happy, cheerful, and optimistic about life to the very end. I think of Sherri often and miss her so much. I just hope that having known her, I can remember her example and try to live my life as a better person.
