Denyse died of ovarian cancer. She was a force to be reckoned with as she continued her passion with horses, pharmacutical work and Japanese Drumming. She was one of my few friends in high school and I miss her very much.
I was so sad to hear of Danyse's passing. She was a brilliant girl, and a friend to me during high school. I remember studying with her, and the time I was asked to help her college-age sister Allyn (who at least recently made a name for herself at CDC) with debate notes. As a reward, the two sisters took me to see "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" at the Villa. What a memory!! I enjoyed Denyse's spunk, and thought she would make a name for herself. Too bad she left it so young.
