Dave was one of the best and he made you feel good. A great person and friend and was taken way to soon. I am very happy Dave and i were friends and i was able to meet him in the short span of time he was with us. I know others feel the same about Dave.

I went to school from Junior High on with "Davey".  I'm sure that many girls like me had a crush on him as he was so cute.  He seemed like one of those romantic rebels that you want to get to know and who you wish would like you.  I remember he "hung out" with Pine Jorgensen and the group and I knew him to be a great skier when High School times came around.  He was always kind and good to me, and I knew that he had a sweet heart.  I still can't believe he has been gone for so long...I know that he is up there watching me write and it makes me feel good to know that he is aware that I miss him.  Keep smiling that sweet smile Davey...lu briggs savage

Dave and I had some great fun along the way.  Dave had his drivers license early.  He had a paper route and used his car to deliver.  I feel close to Dave.  I taught Dave how to ski slalom gates that we had set up behind the Watson Shelter at Alta.  He just loved that!  So much so, that Dave skiied sucessfully with us in the Junior ranks and skied for GTO, same team as Craig Gorder skiied for.

Davey Novelle did great!  He was able to Scholar at the U of U, and campaign with the U of U Ski Team.  Way to go buddy! You are still the Best!

Skiing at extreme high speed is very dangerous but also extremely fun.  Davey and I know.  It is a blast but Very Dangerous.  George Buys knows this also.  George skiied for the US Army ski team.  We had some great talent at Skyline.

God Bless our Good Friend Dave Novelle....
