I do not know any details about Corinne's life following high school.  What I do remember is that while I knew her at Skyline, she was one of the kindest, gentlest souls with whom I had the good fortune of associating.  I will always remember her wonderful smile, engaging personality, and her energy, enthusiasm, and passion for life.  She possessed such an incredibly beautiful spirit.  While I did not have any personal interaction with her over the past 46 years, she left a lasting impression on me and I will sorely miss her not being with us.  God rest her soul!

I cannot say it any better than has David R. Jackson. I feel and think exactly as he and cannot express things in a different or better way. Corinne was one of those peope who lit up my school day with her light and I am extremely saddened to see that wonderfully warm light snuffed out. I am envious of those who got to spend time with her all of these years since graduation. I secretly had a crush on her back in the day (but what Skyline boy didn't?). My condolences go out to her family and close friends.

It feels like just yesterday that we were in High School enjoying those carefree days ... just a brief lifetime ago. We can somewhat rejoice that her suffering has now come to an end and she can now begin to enjoy the beauties of eternities. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. She will be missed but not forgotten. Until our next school reunion on the other side where we will have even greater tales and stories to share with one another. :)

Corinne was a sweet friend.  One summer after high school graduation, several of us took on jobs as MAIDS at the Laguna Shores Motel in Laguna Beach and had a BLAST!!!  It grieves me to think that Corinne has passed away.  Sending love to her family at this time and including some pictures from that summer in California....Pauline Goldthorpe Leeman

  • Corrinne Chatterton Nasella, born May 9, 1952, to Willis Atkinson Chatterton and Thelma Gilbert Chatterton in Salt Lake City, Utah peacefully passed from this life onto her heavenly home and into the Lords hands the morning of August 1st, 2016 at the young age of 64. Corinne valiantly battled various forms of cancer up until the end.

Corinne is survived by her husband: Dennis Michael Nasella, three children: Rachel Amelia Nasella Price, Michael James Nasella, Kaitlin Corinne Nasella, her son-in-law: David Albert Price, two grandbabies: Kearon David Price, Desmond Taber Price, two sisters: Tanya Chatterton, Patrice Chatterton (Kevin) Winn, one brother: Todd Gilbert Chatterton. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her older brother Timothy Gilbert Chatterton.

Corinne will be remembered by many for her passion of teaching and as a tenacious competitor on the tennis court. She taught the subjects of business, economics and word processing at various junior highs and high schools for 29 years. She finished her teaching career at Brighton High School, where she coached the ladies tennis team to multiple state championships over the course of many years. Corinne unselfishly donated her time and efforts to the Junior League of Salt Lake City and was a proud member of the University of Utah sorority Chi Epsilon Nu. She was a die-hard fan of the Utah Jazz, a skilled seamstress, typist, pianist, and shorthand writer. She was highly educated, earning her Master’s Degree in Business Education from BYU. Corinne was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints and served the church in many capacities throughout her life. Most notably, she was extremely proud of her children and grandbabies and loved them tremendously. She will be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, teacher, coach and friend.
