When we lose a fellow classmate memories of them still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we've lost makes them part of us. Our thoughts are with all of you who have loved and lost.
I thought the world of Todd and actually went to ninth grade graduation dance with him. I remember him being very kind and quite shy. He was sweet and so nice to be . I am sure he is greatly missed.
Todd, I will always remember you. We lived next to each other on Jupiter Drive ... I loved your accordian ... we gave our mission farewells and homecomings together .. I was honored to play the piano at your wedding ... take care my friend .. you will never be forgotten ... save a place for me up there :)
I grew up with Todd. He was in the Holiday 12th Ward. Not a great basketball player..but I guess neither was I... Always thought he was a strange guy until I got into high school and found out what a sensitive and terrific guy he was. I didn't hang out with him much...he was too "churchy" for me and I kinda left the Mormon life in late high school.
I ran into him at McDonalds about a month before he died and told me he was dying of cancer. Kind of matter of factly and resigned and comfortable with his destination.
I was impressed by his calm and the spirit that seemed to radiate around him.
He left a strong impression on me that I will remember.
Just thinking about you today. It has been over 40 years since you have passed away but I still have fond memories of you ... including you playing the accordian ha ha . Anyway, good luck in your endevors on the other side. your friend always, Dave :)
