I grew up with Susan on Bonnie Brae Avenue. I remember the night games we played with the rest of the neighborhood gang. I have many fond memories of Susan and her family members. I learned how to eat and appreciate onion and mayonnaise sandwiches. I was sadden when I learned of her death so many years ago. It was such a freak accident. She has been remembered and missed for many years.

Susan was a loveable child. I lived on Wainwright Road between the ages of 1 and 10 and Susan was a regular pal. I always figure the younger you are when God calls your name, the fewer lessons you had to learn while on the planet.

I grew up in the same LDS ward as Susan. We attended every year of school together, from Morningside Elementary, through our senior year at Skyline. There was rarely a school function or church youth social that we did not attend toghether. I always thought of Susan as a happy, lovely, outgoing girl.

The last time I saw Susan, was not long after the twentieth reunion. She was living out of atate, and had not been able to attend. I tried to give her a full report. I told Susan about the film that was part of the program, and the shocking number of graduates who had since passed away. Susan was stunned, and demanded to know names. In a tragic case of irony Susan herself has since joined our beloved classmates who passed on before their time. We won't forget you Susan!
