I am truly saddened by the news of Steve's passing! Rubbing shoulders with Stave was one of the things I looked forward to at each of our picnics. Unfortunately, I did not know Steve very well while we were in school together. Since the last reunion, however, I have gotten to know him better at the picnics and will miss him. May he rest in peace....
There will be a graveside gathering for Steve Leonhardt on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Olympus Section), 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. His cremated remains will be laid to rest beside his parents and grandparents.
Steve was a friend since grade school at Libbie Edwards and lived a couple streets over from me. He was my boyfriend in 6th grade and we had a group of friends that had a lot of fun and got into some trouble. He has been a friend ever since, and we rekindled our friendship before our 40th year reunion by emails. He was so welcoming at the reunion and I remembered what a nice person he truly is. Gone to soon! He will be missed! Best to his family. Rest in peace Steve!
Today, attending funeral services for one of the neighborhood kids we grew up with, Steven A Leonhardt. Thank you for friends, who helped ease the heartache.
Today, we deal with our thoughts about the circumstances which lead to Steve’s passing.
Today, we may have addiction close to us, waking to challenge head on or trying make sense as to why.
Today, we can take a moment to love our Dear Ones; ask for help, ask for healing in affirmations.
Today, is a new morning which is ours to mold, to think…. to hope…. to change….. to proceed.
Today, we can help someone in need, familiar or not to make a difference.
