June 10, 1952 ~ August 3, 2012
Randy Dangerfield passed away suddenly on August 3, 2012, at the family cabin which he loved.
He was born on June 10, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jack Dangerfield and Virginia Green, joining two big brothers, Steve and Byron. Randy had a passion and strength from the beginning that continued throughout his life. He was always living life to the fullest. He lived by the motto "everyday's a good day".
Randy graduated from Skyline High School in 1970 and went on to become a plumber, pipe-fitter and welder for 40 years, which took him all over the country. He was a member of the Utah Pipetrades.
His many passions in life included riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, hiking, reading and playing with his grandchildren. But his all-time favorite thing was spending time at his cabin with his wife and best friend, Vicki, as well as other friends and family, including his best canine friend, "Lucy."
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; children: Toni (Russ), Keri (Steve), Chelsea (Lance), Jimmy (Nicole), Zach (Lindsey); 10 adoring grandchildren; father: Jack Dangerfield; Brothers: Steve (Linda), Byron (Marilyn) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Virginia Dangerfield.
A celebration of Randy's life will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at the Country Park Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1988 W. 11400 S. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the church. Internment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
