Skyline Legacy Fund

All Alumni united to provide an enduring future for Skyline High School students,
facility and staff. We can make a difference!

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of the Legacy Fund is:

To provide funds that support unmet needs of young learners from Skyline High School (SHS).

  • Student scholarships for colleges and universities
  • Endowments for on-going academic, performing arts or athletic programs including academic program fees and transportation assistance
  • Equipment purchases, beautification projects, faculty training, historical and memorial projects highlighting achievements of students, faculty and alumni.

It is also our intent in achieving our purpose to:

  • Enhance, foster and promote strong alumni participation from all Class Alumni, students and the community as a key component to continued sustainable support and the long-term success of SHS.
  • Seek funding from individuals, foundations, corporations and governmental entities to achieve our purpose of meeting the unmet needs of SHS.

Who We Are

The Skyline High School70 Legacy Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, made up entirely of volunteers. Currently we are 1970 Alumni, establishing the infrastructure and developing a long-term funding program to fulfill the purpose stated above. One of our goals is to create an all-inclusive SHS alumni Board of Trustees that has staff/faculty representation and community input. An additional long-term goal is to fund a part/full-time management position to administer the activities of the Legacy Fund with an functional operating budget.

The current alumni establishment members are:
Hilary Hardwick, Rob Ence, Thelxi Chanak Hauenstein, Judy Cheever Crawford, Preston Eichers, Dave Jackson, and Kerry Kaslter Burt.
