After a 30 year career as an Environmental Analyst (Lab Rat) crumbled out from under me, I am currently cooking in a casino in Central City, Colorado. It's about 30 miles into to mountains west of Denver. I've lived in the mountains for close to 30 years and find it more and more difficult to muster the courage to drive to the "Big City". I'm an avid nature photographer, and have had many of my photos aired on local TV news programs. I sing at the local bar whenever I get
a chance.

I'm Pope, one of the Steve's that Godbe mentioned in his post. I remember riding our bikes around the neighborhood and hanging out with Crawley, Godbe, and Scott Huntington. We would ride down the hill on Upland Drive from Crawley's house. I swear we went 120mph. It's hard to believe the 50th is coming up, and so many of my friends are gone. It's all too real, now. "Old" is good in some things: Old Songs, Old Movies, and best of all, OLD FRIENDS!!
